Purpose of the position

L'Émérite de Brossard is a warm and pleasant residence that is happy to welcome a little more than 260 autonomous and semi-autonomous residents. Located in a prime area, in the heart of a residential sector and close to the Dix30 district. We are currently looking for a talented Nursing Assistant who cares about the health of residents. The nursing assistant team administers medication and ensures that residents' files are updated in the computer tool. They respond to emergencies and work closely with the health services manager and other departments (kitchen, dining room, maintenance, reception, etc.). This is a temporary position (maternity leave replacement), full-time 35 hours per week, evenings and every other weekend.

Specifically, your daily life with us will look like:

• Administer medication in accordance with safety principles and the codes of ethics.
• Create and maintain meticulous notes in the residents' Dossier in accordance with the requirements of the Ordre des Infirmiers et Infirmières auxiliaires du Québec (OIIAQ).
• Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations.
• Promote and advocate for proactive care among residents.
• Respond to all emergency situations.

Required qualifications:

• A professional studies diploma (DEP) in health care assistance or nursing.
