Greenshield provides high quality service by strategically focusing on chronic autoimmune and neurological conditions, such as rheumatoid arthritis, gastrointestinal diseases, dermatological diseases, stroke rehabilitation, migraines, and multiple sclerosis. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide exceptional patient and customer service in keeping with GreenShield-NKS Health values.
• Administer intravenous therapy and monitor patients under the care of a physician.
• Administer intramuscular vaccination and TB skin testing as ordered.
• Take appropriate action in situations where the safety and well-being of the patient may be compromised.
• Adhere to best work safety practices and procedures.
• Report Adverse Events as needed.
• Adhere to nursing practices as outlined by the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
• Commitment to continuing education.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Minimum of 1 year experience with IVs, hospital nursing preferred.
• Experience with IV antibiotics, and biologics preferred.
• Experience with Pediatric patient population an asset.
• Currently registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
• Current BLS required. ACLS an asset.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written required.
• Valid Ontario driver's license and reliable vehicle required.
• Excellent patient assessment and teaching skills.
• Possess the physical ability to perform the day-to-day duties described in the duties and responsibilities.
