Timmins Academic FHT is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for a temporary assignment in Timmins, Ontario. The NP will provide primary care to unattached and vulnerable patients, performing health assessments, diagnosis and treatment, and addressing social determinants of health to reduce barriers to care.

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioners(NP’s) to join our team on a temporary basis, providing primary care topatients who do not have access to care and those who are or are at risk ofexperiencing homelessness. The NPs will offer comprehensive care, includinghealth assessments, diagnosis, and treatment, while addressing the socialdeterminants of health. The ideal candidate will have a passion for workingwith underserved populations and ensuring equitable access to healthcare.

Thisposition reports directly to the Clinical Director. The location of thisposition could be the Administration, Algonquin West, 101 Mall, Algonquin East,Third Avenue site or any other location within Timmins.
