Job summary

Shoppers Drug Mart Specialty Health Network is hiring a Nurse Practitioner to provide clinical care and coaching across Canada via telemedicine. You will triage requests, offer education, and collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and nurses to develop comprehensive care plans.

The role requires an unrestricted nursing license in Canada, with 2 years of NP experience preferred, and readiness to license in other provinces as needed.

Qualifications

• Availability that includes days, occasional evenings, weekends and possible on-call shifts.
• Current unrestricted professional nursing license to practice in the province of work.
• Willing to become licensed in other provinces as required for the program services.
• 2 years direct clinical experience as Nurse Practitioner preferred.
• Ability to apply knowledge of pharmacology to prescribing and evaluating treatment responses.
• Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual French/English where needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide health care advice, education, and support to patients across Canada.
• Triage requests from patients and provide appropriate clinical recommendations.
• Refer patients to healthcare facilities and community resources as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and registered nurses to deliver care.
• Engage in telemedicine service/program development and advocacy.
