Interior Health is seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner to join our team on a permanent, part-time basis in Trail, British Columbia. This unique and rewarding position will involve providing comprehensive primary care to individuals with mental health (MH) and substance use (SU) disorders. Additionally, the successful candidate will care for individuals who are unattached to a primary care provider or referred from the Health Connect Registry (HCR).
As part of an interdisciplinary team, you will deliver longitudinal, patient-centered care to this specialized population. While this is not an Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) clinic, you will collaborate with the Kootenay Boundary OAT team and may provide OAT services to patients in your care. It is important to note that you will not be expected to attach individuals solely for the purpose of prescribing OAT.
This position does not include outreach services; however, you may work in partnership with outreach workers to support patients who face challenges accessing care on-site.
You will work alongside another Nurse Practitioner, allowing for collaboration within a supportive and dynamic team environment. This role offers the opportunity to engage with various community agencies and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic, culturally safe care to patients.
Salary Range: Salary range for the position is $74.74/hour - $82.21/hour. Interior Health establishes salaries within the minimum and maximum of the salary range based on consideration of the qualifications and experience of the applicant.
