Job summary

Shoreline Medical Society in Sidney, BC is seeking a nurse practitioner to work with an inter-disciplinary team to deliver culturally safe primary care at the Sidney clinic on the Saanich Peninsula. Start as soon as possible with opportunities in maternity and palliative care.

As the most responsible primary care provider, you will establish a patient panel and participate in after-hours care on a rotating weekly on-call schedule. Eligible for licensure with BC College of Nurses and Midwives.

Qualifications

• NP to work with an inter-disciplinary health care team to deliver culturally safe primary care.
• Must establish a minimum patient panel as the primary care provider.
• On-call for the clinic on a rotating schedule for one week at a time.
• Eligible for Licensure with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives.
• As soon as possible start date.

Responsibilities

• Act as the most responsible primary care provider for the clinic.
• Provide maternity and palliative care opportunities.
• Coordinate care with physicians, RNs, pharmacists and social workers.
