Job description

Work Schedule:

80% FTE, Monday - Friday, between 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. No holidays or call. Hours may vary based on departmental needs.

As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in our outpatient ambulatory care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients.

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner OR Physician Assistant to:

• Care for the acute and chronic needs of patients from newborn to elderly.
• Perform annual physical exams and manage health maintenance needs of our family medicine population.
• Perform asynchronous care through inbasket management.
• Perform routine clinical procedures independently, including wart removal, paps smears, IUD removal, IUD/Nexplanon placement, and skin lesion removals.
• Complete inbasket work.

Education:

If Nurse Practitioner: Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nursing Program.

If Physician Assistant: Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited PA Program.

Work Experience:

Required: Two (2) years of relevant clinical experience.

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum: State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure.

If Nurse Practitioner:

• Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice.
• Active board certification as an NP in area of clinical practice (e.g., Family).

If Physician Assistant:

• Active PA license, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice.
• Active PA board certification.

All Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants must have or be able to obtain an Active DEA license prior to or upon hire.
