Salary Range: $63.75 - $73.33
Reporting to the Director of Perioperative Services, you will develop and provide assessment strategies within a holistic nursing framework for surgical patients. The Nurse Practitioner will focus on perioperative care for orthopedic patients within the bundled care model. You will interpret diagnostic tests, guide patient care in collaboration with physicians, and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team and community partners. Monitoring and evaluating outcomes, applying critical thinking, and collaborating on best practice guidelines are essential components of this role. You will also educate patients and healthcare professionals pre- and post-operatively.
The physical demands may include prolonged sitting, standing, walking, bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling. Ensuring a safe environment for all is a key responsibility.
