Salary Range: $63.75 - $73.33
Reporting to the Director of Perioperative Services, you will develop and provide assessment strategies within a holistic nursing framework for surgical patients. The Nurse Practitioner will focus on perioperative care for orthopedic patients within the bundled care model. You will collaborate with physicians to interpret diagnostic tests, guide care, and engage a multidisciplinary team to resolve issues and coordinate care with community partners. Monitoring and evaluating outcomes, applying critical thinking, and developing best practice guidelines are essential parts of this role. You will also educate patients pre- and post-operatively, as well as nurses and other healthcare professionals involved in patient care.
The physical demands may include prolonged sitting, standing, walking, bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling. Ensuring a safe environment for all is a key responsibility.
