The Nurse Practitioner (NP) is a registered nurse in the extended class (EC) with the College of Nurses of Ontario, holding a Master’s degree. NPs have a legislated scope of practice beyond that of a Registered Nurse, authorized to perform controlled acts within the limits set by law and standards. The NP provides advanced nursing care, collaborates with interprofessional teams, and performs comprehensive assessments, especially in geriatrics. The role involves leadership, developing best practices, and participating in organizational activities to improve patient outcomes.

This full-time position offers 75 hours bi-weekly, day shifts, including weekends. Eligible nurses may qualify for the Community Commitment Program for Nurses (CCPN), which offers a $25,000 incentive grant for a 24-month commitment.
