The Nurse Practitioner (NP) at CNCC provides comprehensive primary healthcare to incarcerated individuals, including physical and mental health assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions. The NP collaborates with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop individualized care plans, prescribe medications, and implement harm reduction strategies. Responsibilities also include promoting preventative healthcare, and ensuring adherence to correctional healthcare policies and standards.
