Job Description

Job Description

Ready to revolutionize healthcare, making it faster and more accessible than ever before?

How we started :

Back in 2013, our founder Dwayne D'Souza saw an opportunity to give people faster and more convenient access to medications using technology. We've grown rapidly since our inception, without any external funding whatsoever – achieving profitability through innovation and a highly disciplined approach to growth.

Where we are now :

We've earned the trust of millions of people worldwide through our top-selling products and well-known brands: MedExpress, Dermatica, ZipHealth, RocketRX, and Levity. A lot of our success is down to having our own pharmacies, manufacturers and products – spearheaded by leading in-house medical teams, researchers and pharmacists. Between 2023 and 2024 our global revenue tripled; £60m to £180m (300% year-on-year growth). We're looking to do the same in 2025; move into new territories, and further accelerate our growth journey. There's never been a more exciting time to join HeliosX.

Where we're going :

Over the next five years, you'll support our goal to become a world-leading healthcare partner, deepening our customer relationships, expanding into new countries, and diversifying our product portfolio to treat more conditions. You'll be part of helping more people access prescription treatments and, most importantly, making personalised care better, quicker and easier for everyone.

Come be a part of making our dream of easier and faster healthcare a reality!

Contractor | Remote (Canada, with London HQ collaboration)

HeliosX is an international healthtech group scaling innovative online healthcare services across multiple markets. With our Canadian launch of MedExpress, our leading telehealth prescribing platform, we are looking for a Nurse Prescriber Advisor to join us on a contractor basis.

This is a rare opportunity to help shape how prescribing nurses can be integrated into telehealth at a national scale—advising on regulations, compliance, and best practices for GLP-1 and other treatments.

The Role

You will collaborate with our London-based team through two phases :

Phase 1 – Initial Review (2 hrs, one-off)
  • Provide an overview of Canadian regulations for nurse-led online prescribing.
  • Conduct a top-level gap analysis with MedExpress's current UK operating model.
  • Assess feasibility for nurse prescribing in GLP-1 initiation, repeat prescribing, and patient assessments.
  • Share insights during a 2-hour video interview (may be split into two sessions).
Phase 2 – Detailed Review (10 hrs, one-off)
  • Deliver a detailed review of nurse prescriber regulations in Canada's telehealth sector.
  • Assist in a comprehensive gap analysis against the MedExpress model.
  • Define requirements for a nurse-led service, including:
    • Clinician type, education, insurance, and licensing.
    • Compliance with regulations for online patient assessment and asynchronous consultations.
    • Safeguards required for nurse prescribers.
    • Key insurance considerations.
  • Submit a structured report using a provided template.
About You
  • Licensed nurse prescriber, registered with a relevant Canadian nursing regulatory body.
  • Strong knowledge of Canada's online prescribing and telehealth environment.
  • Ideally, experience with GLP-1 prescriptions, ED treatments, and asynchronous consultations.
  • Background in designing or managing online services is an asset.
  • Actively practising clinicians encouraged to apply.
Why Join Us
  • Play a pioneering role in shaping the future of nurse-led prescribing in Canadian telehealth.
  • Work with a global medical and strategy team driving international healthtech expansion.
  • Flexible, project-based contractor role with competitive pay (market rates, negotiable).
  • Contribute to a high-impact launch of an established global platform.
