A leading healthcare organization is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner responsible for comprehensive patient assessments and initiating treatment protocols. The Nurse Practitioner is responsible and accountable for comprehensive assessments of patients/clients/residents, including diagnosing diseases, disorders, and conditions. The Nurse Practitioner initiates treatment, including healthcare management, therapeutic interventions, and prescribing medications, in accordance with statutory and regulatory standards, limits, conditions, policies, and guidelines. They provide professional guidance to other health professionals and practice autonomously and interdependently within an interdisciplinary healthcare team, making referrals to physicians and others as appropriate.
This position collaborates with patients/clients/residents and other team members to identify and assess trends and patterns affecting health. It involves developing and implementing population and evidence-based strategies to improve health and participating in policy-making activities influencing health services and practices. The role includes peer review and self-assessment to evaluate service outcomes at patient, community, and population levels.
