The ideal candidate will have an NP license and active CNO registration, with at least one year in primary care, urgent care, or outpatient settings.

Qualifications

  • Nurse Practitioner license is required.
  • Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) required.
  • Minimum of one year of clinical experience in primary healthcare, urgent care, or outpatient settings.
  • Experience in pain management, chronic disease management, family medicine, or Musculoskeletal Disorders preferred.
  • Familiarity with medication administration protocols and pain management techniques.
  • Strong communication skills with patients, families, and teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care for patients with acute and chronic pain conditions.
  • Educate patients on pain management strategies, lifestyle modifications, and preventive care.
  • Support mental health needs through assessment, diagnosis, and management.
  • Provide holistic care that considers the physical, emotional, and psychological well-being of each patient.
Experience
  • A valid Nurse Practitioner license is required.
  • Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
  • A minimum of one year of clinical experience in primary healthcare, urgent care, or outpatient settings.
  • Previous expertise in pain management, chronic disease management, family medicine, or Musculoskeletal Disorders preferred
  • Familiarity with medication administration protocols and pain management techniques is essential.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.
