Job Summary

Join our health services team at a leading community college in Ontario. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurse Practitioner who will play a critical role in enhancing student health through comprehensive, collaborative care.

✓ Provide high-quality primary care services including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.

✓ Prescribe medication and interpret laboratory results.

✓ Collaborate with faculty and external health providers to coordinate comprehensive care.

✓ Lead health promotion and disease prevention initiatives on campus.

✓ Maintain detailed and confidential health records.

✓ At least three years of clinical experience, preferably in a primary care, emergency, or educational setting.

✓ Recent relevant experience in assessing clients with complex medical needs is required.

✓ Experience in the development, implementation and evaluation of relevant in Nurse Practitioner practices is required.

✓ Experience in the development of strategies to build capacity and improve health outcomes is required.

✓ Experience in the development of clinical guidelines and protocols, promoting the use of research and evidence-based practice to guide patient-centered care is required.

✓ Master’s degree in Nursing and registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario in the Extended Class.

✓ At least three years of clinical experience, preferably in a primary care, emergency, or educational setting.

✓ Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

✓ Strong communication skills and proficiency in electronic health records.

Salary: $48.00 – $65.00 Per hour depending on experience
