Nurse Practitioner at Life Scan Wellness Centers

Summary: As a Nurse Practitioner with a master's degree and extensive clinical experience, you will provide comprehensive, prevention-based physicals and wellness exams tailored for first responders. Your responsibilities include conducting multiple non-diagnostic screenings daily, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and delivering detailed health results with follow-up guidance. This role requires professional communication, leadership, and periodic travel, all aimed at promoting proactive, holistic healthcare in a nationally recognized medical practice. Job Summary: Administer nine non-diagnostic annual screenings per day, Monday through Friday, to public safety personnel. Work collaboratively with a team and interact professionally with patients and department heads. Full-time position focused on delivering top-quality physicals and follow-up guidance.

Travel: Frequent expense-paid travel for one week at a time is required.

Requirements:

• Master's degree (MSN) required
• Certified as a Family or Adult Nurse Practitioner
• At least 3 years of RN or APRN experience
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner in the state of practice
• BLS and ACLS certifications required

Essential Functions: Provide general health exams, interpret lab results, and offer guidance for abnormalities. Familiarity with cardiology and pulmonology is preferred. Collaborate with Ultrasound Sonographers and Exercise Physiologists to deliver ultrasound findings to patients and department heads.
