TLC Medical Clinic is a dynamic and patient-centered primary care practice located in the heart of

Vancouver, BC. We are committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based healthcare with a focus on

preventative care, chronic disease management, and patient education. Our interdisciplinary team

includes Medical Office Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, Family Physicians and

Specialists, fosters a collaborative environment that supports professional growth and values

compassionate care. We also work closely with the Primary Care Network and collaborate with their

team of dietitians, occupational therapists, pharmacists, and counsellors / social workers.

Position Overview :

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our growing

team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive primary care services to a diverse patient

population, work autonomously and in collaboration with physicians and allied health professionals, and

contribute to the ongoing development of clinical programs and quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

Conduct thorough assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop evidence-based care plans

Manage chronic diseases including diabetes, hypertension, MASLD, and others

Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with provincial regulations

Promote health education, disease prevention, and patient self-management

Document clinical encounters using EMR (Oscar)

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical projects

Provide care in alignment with current best practices and clinic protocols

Roster and retain 1,000 patients over a timeframe of three years

Qualifications :

Current registration and in good standing with the British Columbia College of Nurses and

Midwives (BCCNM) as a Nurse Practitioner (or eligibility for licensure in British Columbia)

Masters degree in Nursing – Nurse Practitioner program

Minimum of 1 year of NP experience in a primary care or family practice setting preferred (new

grads welcome to apply)

Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and interpersonal skills

EMR experience (Oscar) considered an asset

Passion for patient-centered care and preventative medicine
