Night Full Time NeuroICU Registered Nurse

$15,000 - Sign On Bonus offered for new hires. Per policy, current employees are not eligible.

The Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit is a fast-paced, 20-bed comprehensive stroke unit. We specialize in the treatment and management of neurological conditions. Our nursing staff performs neuro assessments and interventions, providing superior care. A dedicated Neuro Critical Care Nurse responds to stroke alerts and handles outside transfers 24/7.

Dignity Health Neurological Institute of Northern California leads the region in neurovascular care, treating the highest volume of neurovascular patients. Our team includes neurologists, neurosurgeons, neurointerventional radiologists, and neurocritical care specialists, all committed to delivering exceptional, personalized care.

Position Summary:

The nurse coordinates and directs care to individuals and families using a holistic approach. The nursing process guides critical thinking and problem-solving to provide effective, safe, and confidential care from admission to discharge. The RN collaborates with the healthcare team, demonstrates leadership, and maintains professionalism.

Qualifications

Sign-on Bonus: $15,000 for new hires; current employees are ineligible.

Referral Eligible: Yes.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1 year RN experience in ICU acute care
  • Current California RN License
  • ACLS and BLS certifications from American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year experience in Neuro and/or Trauma critical care
