Discovery Community College has an instructing opportunity available for the right individual to help guide students through their HCA training.
Our instructors play a vital role in changing lives and positively impacting the healthcare sector in BC, leading students through laboratory and clinical training to become fully qualified HCAs.
The position is onsite in Victoria, BC, for Theory, Lab, and Clinical instruction (schedules to be advised). Immediate start available.

What you have:
- Passion for making a real difference!
- Current full registration with the BCCNM is required.
- At least two years of full-time nursing experience, including:
- 2800 hours of nursing experience
- Experience working with older adults with complex health needs
- Experience or orientation in home support and multi-level care
- Ability to teach adult learners (mentoring/instructing).
- Possession of a Provincial Instructors Diploma and prior teaching experience, or
- Aptitude and willingness to learn and obtain an Instructor Diploma (with support).
