Job Description: The Registered Nurse A is responsible to the Manager, Clinical Services ICU/PACU. The Registered Nurse A is responsible for maintaining a high standard of patient care in accordance with the vision, mission and philosophy of the Saskatchewan Health Authority. As a member of the Nursing department, the Registered Nurse A has the responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive client centered care.

Human Resources Exemption: No

Education

  • Critical Care Nursing certificate (CCN)
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

Other Education and Training

  • Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS)
  • Nursing diploma is acceptable
  • Critical Care Nursing certificate (CCN)
