Job summary

Saskatchewan Health Authority in Birch Hills is seeking a Registered Nurse A/RPN for Birchview Home's Residential Care Unit. This casual, non-fte position supports patient-centred care and collaborates with the Facility Manager and care team to maintain high standards.

The role requires a BScN (or nursing diploma acceptable), valid CRNS licensing, BLS, ACLS, and a Saskatchewan driver's license. No guaranteed hours and recruitment incentives may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) is required or nursing diploma acceptable.
• Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS).
• Valid Class 5 driver's license, BLS and ACLS certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Facility Manager/Director of Care/Nursing Unit Manager, the Registered Nurse A/RPN is responsible for maintaining a high standard of patient care in accordance with the SHA’s vision, mission and philosophy.
• Responsible for assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive client-centred care.
