Job summary

A major healthcare organization in Winnipeg is looking for a Nurse 3 Clinical Function in the Pacemaker Clinic. Position Overview
Experience
  • Two (2) years recent cardiac nursing experience required.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
  • Baccalaureate of Nursing preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Post-basic course in Critical Care Nursing or equivalent required.
Certification/Licensure/Registration
  • Current CRNM. registration required.
  • Active participation in professional associations e.g. Association of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM) preferred.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Scope of practice as documented in the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA).
  • Demonstrated clinical competences with and knowledge of pacemakers and paced EKG's required.
  • Applicants will be assessed against the following selection criteria, as applicable to the position: experience, education, experience, patient care and clinical knowledge/skills, leadership skills, communication and interpersonal skills, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, quality improvement, teaching skills, research knowledge, professional development and seniority.
