Under the general supervision of the Manager of Health Services and demonstrating a commitment to the mission, vision, and values of the WRHA, the Registered Nurse (RN) provides nursing care to clients in the community, including those with complex and unpredictable health needs. These services include independent nursing services, administration of prescribed treatments, leadership within the healthcare team, and facilitating coordination of client care and discharge. Services may be provided in the home, school, workplace, or at a home care nursing clinic.

This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check, and Adult Abuse Registry Check. The candidate is responsible for any service charges. Checks are current if obtained within six months prior to employment.
Employees may not hold multiple positions across WRHA that total more than 1.0 EFT. The WRHA includes various facilities and services.
