Full-time Temporary (32.5 hours per week) Educational Assistants

Effective Immediately - June 26, 2025

The Educational Assistant works under the supervision of a certified teacher who retains the responsibility for planning, instruction, supervision and evaluation of the students.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Educational Assistant Diploma with CPR/First Aid preferred
• Experience in literacy and numeracy support preferred
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Basic knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
• Ability to follow programming focused on numeracy and literacy and adapt as needed

Responsibilities:

• Data/record keeping
• Deliver literacy and numeracy programming
• Work collaboratively with school-based learning support teacher, classroom teachers, lead intervention teacher, and school leaders
• Prepare, gather and maintain student activities/resources
