A leading engineering firm in Brantford, Ontario, is seeking a Nuclear Project Manager to coordinate and manage all aspects of Section III orders. The role includes reviewing designs for compliance with ASME Code and preparing QC documentation. Candidates must have 3 to 5 years of project management experience along with a technical degree. Nuclear Project Manager
Reporting to the Nuclear Products & Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the coordination and completion of all aspects of Section III orders from inception to completion, including the review of customer specifications and technical bid packages, preparation and submittal of documentation to meet customer and code requirements, the completion of Design Reviews and the completion of various design output documents including drawings, procedures and bills of material.
You will also be the primary Certified Individual responsible for preparation of QC Documentation in accordance with ASME Section XIII requirements.

Your Challenge:
Review of product design activities such as preparation of test data and calculations to verify adequacy and compliance of performance to meet the criteria and requirements of the ASME Code and the Certified Design Specifications.
Review of design control activities such as design registration, selection of materials, as well as review of all proposed drawing revisions to determine if it affects the Design Report or Capacity Certification.
Review the preparation and issuance of drawings, bills of material in detail, engineering specifications and all other engineering applications to produce pressure-retaining parts.
Concur with the investigation and resolution of issues of product performance.
Monitor activities related to ASME certification of safety valves.
Obtaining valve capacity certification.
Coordinating the technical review process for valves and/or parts in accordance with QA procedures.
Verifying the design process output documents for valves and parts in a manner to meet the requirements of the Certified Design Specification, CSA N285.0, the ASME Code, Section III, Division 1 and NQA-1.
Complete the training requirements to become a Certified Individual for pressure relief valve Code inspections.
Prepare QC Documentation packages in compliance with customer, Code and internal requirements.
Your Expertise:
Diploma or Degree in a related technical discipline
3 to 5 years working experience in project management
Well organized and able to work well under pressure.
3 to 5 years experience with ASME Section III Code and CSA N285.0 in applications with pressure relief valves
Extensive technical knowledge of nuclear codes and standards as required for the supply of valves and parts to the nuclear utilities.
Good verbal, written and analytical skills
Strong ability to work within a computerized system and with MS Office products.
