Job summary

GE Vernova Hitachi GVH is seeking a Lead Piping Analysis Engineer to join the Piping Analysis team in Markham, Ontario. The role focuses on Nuclear safety-related piping analysis to ensure code and regulatory compliance for BWRX-300 projects.

You will interface with design, civil-structural, reactor, and integrated plants teams. The position requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Structural Engineering and at least 3 years in the nuclear sector, with onsite work in Canada.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum 3 years Nuclear industry experience.

Responsibilities

  • Use knowledge to solve and deliver outcomes to customers.
  • Collaborate across GVH to develop approaches for technical issues and communicate status.
  • Support procurement and subcontract activities for new plant projects.
  • Represent GVH at ASME meetings and BWROG conferences.
  • Maintain and develop piping and pipe support analysis procedures.
  • Maintain and facilitate use of analysis software.
