The Opportunity

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at MIC, you:

  • Work with our Radiologists each day, reviewing cases, collaborating and learning
  • Are part of a team that supports and cultivates camaraderie by sharing ideas, discussing cases and supporting workload
  • Have additional training opportunities including PET/CT as well as opportunities in leadership
  • Work with up-to-date equipment

Role and Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of exams including Bone scans, Renal Imaging, Myocardial Perfusion Stress Tests with SPECT/CT imaging capability at all sites
  • Provide exceptional patient care
  • Ensure patient information and relevant history is accurate and complete
  • Complete worksheets accurately to share with Radiologists
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and time management skills
  • Critical thinking, asks questions and is solution oriented
  • Maintain privacy and confidentiality of all patients and employees
  • Clean, maintain and trouble shoot equipment
  • Work well within a team and individually
  • Have good judgment and concern for detail and accuracy.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Graduate from accredited Nuclear Medicine Program
  • Active credentialed member of the ACMDTT and CAMRT
  • Current CPR certification
