Responsibilities
Perform a full range of technical work in nuclear medicine.
Monitor patient vital signs and provide care during examinations.
Comply with license regulations for radioactive materials.
Prepare diagnostic radiopharmaceuticals following safety standards.
Complete all record archiving for patient data.
Perform administrative duties in patient information systems.
Skills
Working knowledge of PACS
Knowledge of Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission Regulations
Ability to perform radioisotope examinations
Effective communication skills
Ability to plan workload priorities
CPR techniques
Computer skills with current applications
Physical ability to perform duties
Education
Certification with the CAMRT (Nuclear Medicine)
