Alberta Health Services is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist I for the Cross Cancer Institute. This role involves performing various nuclear medicine procedures and requires specific qualifications, including a diploma in NMT and registration eligibility with ACMDTT. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) I, you will be responsible for performing a variety of nuclear medicine procedures for the diagnosis and tracking of disease and pathology. As a NMT I, you will perform Nuclear Medicine procedures as described in the department procedure manual using a wide range of equipment such as gamma cameras, computers, ECG monitors, cardiac stress equipment, and radiation safety devices.
Completion of diploma from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology (NMT) Program. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic & Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT).
Additional Required Qualifications:PET/CT certification or previous experience in PET/CT. Previous experience in administration of Nuclear Medicine Therapies (Theranostics).
Preferred Qualifications:As Required.
