Position Overview
Virtus Healthcare Staffing is looking for an exceptional Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a partner's team at a world-class academic medical center in Burlington, VT. This role is a great fit for a dedicated professional who performs both clinical and research nuclear medicine testing and therapeutic procedures.
The successful candidate will provide expert diagnostic and therapeutic services using state-of-the-art equipment. Qualifications
- Required: Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program.
- Associate or Baccalaureate Degree in Nuclear Medicine.
- Licensed by either the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (CNMT) in the State of Vermont.
- Twelve months of clinical experience in Nuclear Medicine.
- Experience with clinical instruction for nuclear medicine students and other personnel.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Care & Clinical Excellence: Perform both clinical and research nuclear medicine testing and therapeutic procedures, including general studies and cardiac studies.
- Complete all associated computer interactions for studies and procedures.
- Provide clinical instruction for nuclear medicine students and other personnel as needed.
- Contribute to the development of policies, procedures, standards, and quality assurance needs for the department.
Operational Oversight
- Work a schedule of Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
- Take rotating on-call coverage, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
