Alberta Health Services seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist I to perform diagnostic procedures at Royal Alexandra Hospital. Your Opportunity:
This position will rotate through both nuclear medicine and PET/CT with evening shifts in PET/CT.
Description:
As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) I, you will be responsible for performing a variety of nuclear medicine procedures for the diagnosis and tracking of disease and pathology. You will perform procedures as described in the department manual using equipment such as gamma cameras, computers, ECG monitors, cardiac stress equipment, and radiation safety devices.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of diploma from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology Program. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic & Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT).
Additional Required Qualifications:
MUST have ACMDTT (or equivalent) Enhanced Practice or CTIC; PET/CT experience preferred. Connect Care training an asset.
Preferred Qualifications:
Positron Emission Tomography/CT experience. Connect Care training is an asset. Strong organizational, technical, interpersonal, communication, and computer skills. Ability to work independently and within a team. Ability to work under pressure. Demonstrates initiative, good judgment, positive attitude, and attention to detail. Tact, courtesy, and professionalism with patients, staff, and physicians.
