Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in laundry or production environments is preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs repetitively and work in a fast-paced setting.
• Willingness to acquire nuclear-grade security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Sort and classify soiled laundry into silos for processing.
• Prepare shipping and receiving of customer laundry items.
• Log items by RFID tag and sort for processing.
• Use proprietary software to save operation records.
• Load/unload laundry from machines and perform basic folding.

About The Role

The Laundry Line Worker will be trained to perform the cleaning process for a variety of soiled laundry items. This process utilizes a range of machines including, but not limited to, washers, dryers, conveyor systems and folding machines. Other tasks could include:

• Sorting & Classifying Soiled Laundry in Appropriate Silos
• Preparing the Shipping & Receiving of Customer Laundry
• Logging Items by RFID Tag & Sorting for Processing
• Using Proprietary Software to Save Records of Operations
• Loading & Unloading Customer Laundry from Machines
• Hanging Plastic Suits on Drying Racks
• Moving Carts/Silos Around Facility
• Manual Folding & Packing of Items
• Inspecting Articles for Wear, Tear & Colour Issues - Repairing Accordingly
• Performing Oversight of Process Lines & Aiding Where Needed
• Other Tasks as Assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Ability to Acquire Nuclear Grade Security Clearance
• Able to lift 50lbs repetitively
