Job summary

ATS Industrial Automation is seeking a Nuclear Technologist to support design, integration and verification of automated systems for customers in the nuclear sector. You will work with the design, assembly, project management and customer teams to ensure prototypes and equipment meet process requirements.

Responsibilities include design input reviews, risk assessments, testing, and site support while adhering to CSA standards and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Mechanical, Mechatronic or Electromechanical Engineering Technology diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Engineering Technologist is preferred.
• Experience in nuclear tooling/equipment development and testing is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Learn the customer process and become the local expert to support design, integration and verification.
• Participate in risk assessments, design reviews and proof-of-principle testing.
• Assist with system integration, commissioning, and troubleshooting on site.
• Ensure the system meets design requirements and provides test reports.
