Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Canada is seeking a TML3 Electrical Technician/Technologist - Working Level to join the Retube Tooling & Field Services Department. The role provides hands-on support for assembly, integration, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, refurbishment, and maintenance of automated and robotic tooling used in nuclear refurbishment and field service projects.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in electrical engineering technology or related field.
• Hands-on experience with control-panel wiring and electrical testing.
• Experience with industrial automation and nuclear-related tooling is an asset.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and markup drawings.

Responsibilities

• Set up, test, and commission automated and robotic tooling.
• Assemble, wire, inspect, and maintain electrical control panels and test equipment.
• Troubleshoot Siemens PLCs, drives, and control-system hardware.
• Perform refurbishment, maintenance, and diagnostic testing.
• Support FAT, DVT, SAT, and field-service activities.
• Prepare test reports and maintain documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and vendor teams.
• Travel to vendor facilities and customer sites as required.
