We are hiring full time and part time NSWOC Nurses (Registered Nurse (RN)) to support patients in Mississauga and surrounding areas. Part time and full time hours are available.

Job Description

You will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in the community. Youhave clinical skills and extensive knowledge of wound, ostomy and continence care management for a wide range of patients with chronic diseases.

  • Provide patient-focused, safe, holistic nursing care and work collaboratively with other members of our team
  • Ensure that nursing care provided to our patients is based on current and best practices to achieve successful outcomes
  • Continually assess, anticipate, identify and respond to new and changing needs of our patients
  • Travel between patients’ homes within a specific geographical region
Qualifications
  • Minimum of two-year nursing experience (Community Nursing experience is ideal, but not required)
  • Currently registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
  • Must have completed ‘Nurses Specialized in Wound, Ostomy and Continence Canada’ (NSWOC) course
  • Ability to work independently in managing your own caseload
  • Proficiency in English, both verbal and written required (if you can speak additional languages, terrific)
  • Valid Ontario driver's license and reliable vehicle with willingness to travel
  • Basic proficiency in Word, Excel and ability to learn software
