University of Alberta is seeking a Nurse Practitioner Specialty Practice (NPSP) Clinical Placement Specialist to lead the development and coordination of graduate clinical placement opportunities for the Post-Master’s Certificate in NPSP.
The role reports to the Associate Dean, Graduate Studies, and focuses on building healthcare partner relationships, facilitating placement opportunities, supporting agreements, and creating scalable processes for ongoing graduate placement programs.

Location - This role is hybrid with a mix of remote and in-person work at North Campus Edmonton.
The Nurse Practitioner Specialty Practice (NPSP) Clinical Placement Specialist is responsible for facilitating, coordinating, and supporting the development of clinical placement opportunities for graduate students in the Post-Master’s Certificate in NPSP. The Certificate supports licensed Nurse Practitioners to achieve additional knowledge and clinical practice skills within an area of specialization.
Reporting to the Associate Dean, Graduate Studies, the position provides leadership in the operational planning, coordination, and administration of clinical placements and is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with healthcare partners, facilitating placement opportunities, supporting placement-related agreements, and developing processes that support the ongoing operation of the graduate clinical placement programs.
