Job summary

Semtech Corporation in Ottawa, Ontario is seeking an NPI Analyst to join the SIP Engineering team, supporting redesign of the New Product Introduction process and ensuring day-to-day execution.

You will coordinate between Engineering, Marketing, Product Definition, Operations, Quality and auditors, build training frameworks, and help drive process improvements.

This role emphasizes process control, documentation, and reporting to management to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in the semiconductor industry; exposure to IC product development is a plus.
• Experience with PLM and project portfolio management systems (Agile PLM) is an asset.
• Working knowledge of phase-gate NPI or product development processes.
• Strong written communication for procedures, training material and audits.
• Ability to coordinate across Engineering, Marketing, Product Definition, Operations, Quality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the SIP NPI process description, procedures, forms and checklists.
• Support change-control cycles and socialize changes with affected functions.
• Build and maintain a training framework for project leaders and core team members.
• Support internal audits and prepare project records ahead of audits.
• Develop reporting for management on program status and process health across the portfolio.
• Coordinate cross-functional interfaces and facilitate rollout of changes.
