A manufacturing company in Oakville, Canada, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure smooth operation and maintenance of production equipment. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, strong troubleshooting skills, and preferably a 433A Millwright License. This role involves performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing issues, and collaborating with production teams.

Qualifications

Join our team as a Maintenance Technician and play a key role in ensuring our packaging and production equipment runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely. We’re looking for a motivated professional with strong troubleshooting skills and a passion for continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do :

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on packaging & production equipment

Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues

Work with electrical systems, PLCs, sensors, and automation controls (if certified)

Minimize downtime while maintaining high safety and GMP standards

Keep detailed maintenance logs and documentation

Assist with equipment installations, upgrades , and process improvements

Collaborate with production teams to solve recurring technical problems

Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment

What You Bring :

3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience ( packaging or manufacturing preferred )

433A Millwright License (preferred or in progress)

Strong mechanical troubleshooting abilities

Experience with conveyors, fillers, sealers , and automated lines

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals

Welding / fabrication experience is a plus

Effective communication and teamwork skills

Flexibility to work shifts and overtime when required
