Left Field Brewery is seeking a part-time Delivery Driver to join our community-focused team. This role involves delivering beer and merchandise, ensuring top-notch customer service, and handling logistics between locations. Ideal candidates should possess a G class driver's license and a positive attitude, with a commitment to our core values of integrity, teamwork, and community building. Type : Part Time, Hourly, 15-30 hours per week

Compensation : $20 / hour + participation in tip pool

The delivery driver is a member of the sales team and completes the last piece of the brewery’s sales as the final point of delivery. They are also involved with raw materials and finished goods transfers between our locations and warehouses. This individual works closely with the Home Delivery, Licensee and Retail teams. Deliveries take place throughout the GTA and the Golden Horseshoe.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Pick beer and merchandise according to pick-sheets
Pack beer and merchandise for delivery according to order sheets
Load product into delivery vehicles (bottled, canned and kegged beer)
Secure load safely in delivery vehicle
Prepare and inspect vehicle before and after each route
Drive a delivery van in accordance with Ontario Motor Vehicle Safety standards
Follow GPS route to deliver orders to personal residences, bars, restaurants and retail locations
Communicate with customers via phone and text message prior to delivery
Collect empty kegs and payments
Ensure delivery accuracy and provide exceptional customer service while on delivery
Complete and submit paperwork and maintain required records in a timely manner
Clean and troubleshoot draught line issues, on occasion
Adhere to Ontario Beverage Alcohol Retail Store Delivery regulations and Smart Serve Regulations as set out by the AGCO
Conduct inventory counts
General brewery duties, as assigned
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
G class drivers license and clean driving record is mandatory.
Exceptional attention to detail
Experience working in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communicator, personable, friendly and enthusiastic
A team player with a positive attitude
Strong communicator, personable, warm and friendly with customer service experience
Availability to work flexible hours (early mornings to evenings).
Must be able to move cases of beer weighing 10Kg from ground level or pallets to table height to hand carts to a delivery vehicle
Must be able to move kegs weighing up to 140lbs between skids, hand carts, delivery vehicles and up / down staircases
Prior delivery experience is an asset
Forklift certification is an asset
Knowledge of draught systems is an asset
