To support growth and further enhance financial discipline, Noverra is recruiting a Vice President, Finance to be a key member of the leadership team. Reporting to a Co-Founder, this senior leader will take ownership of the group’s financial operations, helping guide financial planning, risk management, and audit functions while developing scalable systems that support growth. The role requires someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and can toggle between strategic initiatives and day-to-day execution, overseeing everything from intercompany reconciliations to the integration of new acquisitions. The VP will also take the lead on financial reporting, performance measurement, tax compliance, tax strategy, and treasury, while providing oversight for IT and cybersecurity across the group.
This is an exciting opportunity for a technically strong, emotionally intelligent finance leader who can build trusting relationships with the operating teams, develop talent, and enhance financial literacy across the group. The VP will act as the financial bridge between Noverra Capital and its portfolio companies, many of which are transitioning from informal financial practices to more disciplined, scalable systems. The successful candidate will not only help professionalize these businesses but also help instill the tools and mindset required to support continuous improvement and long-term strategic growth.
The ideal candidate is a CPA who earned their credentials through the public practice route and brings expertise in financial reporting, audit, consolidation, and tax within a multi-entity structure—ideally gained in a private equity, family office, or group of companies environment. They are disciplined, pragmatic, and grounded in integrity. A natural relationship builder, they are able to distill complex financial information for a range of audiences and inspire confidence through clear, transparent communication. With an entrepreneurial mindset, a passion for leadership, and the humility to roll up their sleeves, this leader will play a critical role in supporting Noverra’s purpose: to build high-quality leaders and businesses that stand the test of time.

In accordance with BC’s Pay Transparency Act, the expected base salary range for this role is $150,000-$200,000 per year plus bonus.
