Looking for an opportunity to serve your community, make a difference and expand your professional network?

The Government of Nova Scotia is seeking people from diverse backgrounds and communities to serve on agencies, boards, and commissions (ABCs). Participating on an ABC is an opportunity to have input on issues that matter to you and to help unite communities through public service.

You can now apply to volunteer for various roles across more than 135 ABCs, including the Nova Scotia Assessment Appeal Tribunal, Animal Welfare Appeal Board, and the Museum Board of Governors.

All Nova Scotia residents are invited to apply. Applications for adjudicative board opportunities are due by Tuesday, May 13, 2025. Non-adjudicative board positions are open for applications year-round.
