Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in heavy or mining equipment repair.
  • Valid 421A license and DZ Driver’s License preferred.

Job description

Toromont Cat is looking for a Rotational Field Service Technician, Mining Equipment (Underground or Surface) to go directly to customer mine sites in the North of Ontario and provide superior service and product expertise to maintain high standards that ensure repairs are completed in a timely manner with the utmost integrity.

  • Available rotational shifts include 7/7 & 14/14

Allowances for travel time, flights, meals, and lodging offered.

  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair underground mobile equipment
  • Maintain excellent communication and trusted customer relationships through regular on-site visits

Must-haves for this role:

  • Post-secondary education in a field related to heavy equipment mechanics, truck and coach mechanics, diesel engine mechanics, or a related mechanical field
  • Minimum 4 years of working experience as a technician in the repair and maintenance of heavy or mining equipment
  • Valid 421A license
  • A valid Driver’s License (DZ License preferred)
