Job summary

Stantec's North America water team seeks a Water Treatment Sector Leader to guide technical excellence, lead and develop talent, and strengthen the firm’s position across North America.

You will build a community of practice, shape strategy, support business development, and ensure delivery of high‑quality, innovative water treatment projects while collaborating with clients and internal teams to drive growth and positive community impact.

Qualifications

• 20 years leading technical delivery for water treatment projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering; masters/PhD preferred.
• Professional licensure within one year in province of residency.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a distributed sector team across North America.
• Develop relationships with key clients and pursue opportunities.
• Advance digital delivery tools and innovative technologies.
• Oversee branding and positioning of Stantec’s water sector.
• Foster knowledge transfer through a community of practice.
• Collaborate with regional leaders to align delivery and growth.
