Pomeroy Lodging at the Kananaskis Nordic Spa is seeking a Nordic Spa Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance tasks across pools, saunas, steam rooms, and outdoor areas. You will oversee safety, operations, and guest experiences, ensuring cleanliness and high standards throughout shifts in a dynamic, mountain environment.

The role requires leadership experience in hospitality or spa, plus First Aid/CPR, with a strong emphasis on guest service, teamwork, and safety.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain pools, saunas, steam rooms, pool deck and outdoor areas for safe guest use.
• Operate pools, saunas, steam rooms and related facilities to ensure safety and comfort.
• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance; complete work orders efficiently.
• Monitor water quality and perform routine testing and sampling.
• Collaborate with other departments to support guest experience and safety.
• Attend to guest needs while upholding company values of quality, honesty and family.

Working Conditions

This position operates in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with frequent interaction with guests, team members, and other stakeholders. Due to 365-day-a-year operations, this position will require you to work a variety of shifts including early mornings, late evenings, weekends and holidays and may involve extended hours during periods of high business demand. A significant portion of the role is performed outdoors in the fresh mountain air, with exposure to a wide range of weather conditions, including temperatures from -30°C to +30°C. The position involves frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, pushing, and pulling, as well as occasional use of ladders, stairs, or ramps. The employee must be able to lift up to 30 lbs as required.
