Gtrworldwide is seeking general labour support on construction sites in Moose Jaw, Canada. The role involves assisting skilled trades, handling materials, and helping with setup and cleanup, all while maintaining a safe work environment.

Ideal candidates have physical stamina, basic tool familiarity, and the ability to follow instructions. Outdoor work and travel between sites may be required; WHMIS or fall protection training is a plus.

Main Duties

• Assist skilled tradespersons with material handling, tool preparation, and task setup.
• Load, unload, move and stack construction materials and equipment by hand or using basic lifting aids.
• Operate hand and basic power tools under supervision for cutting, drilling, sanding, and fastening tasks.
• Prepare and maintain clean, safe job sites by removing debris, setting up barriers, and controlling dust.
• Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete, mortar, and asphalt as directed.
• Measure, mark, and assist with basic installation, assembly, and on-site adjustments according to instructions.

Requirements

• Ability to perform physical labour, including lifting heavy materials, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Previous experience in construction, trades assistance, or general labour is an asset.
• Basic familiarity with hand and power tools and safe operating practices.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions and work cooperatively in a team.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and travel between job sites as required.
• Valid safety certifications (e.g., WHMIS, fall protection) or willingness to obtain required site safety training.
