GTR Worldwide is seeking a concrete finishers to perform finishing work on concrete surfaces across various construction sites. Responsibilities include preparing subgrades, forming, placing reinforcement, and finishing with hand and power tools to meet specifications.
The role requires reading drawings, ensuring quality, and coordinating with team in outdoor conditions. Ideal candidates have at least one year of concrete finishing experience, strong physical stamina, and knowledge of curing
Perform finishing work on concrete surfaces to produce smooth, durable, and specification-compliant finishes. Tasks include placing, finishing, curing, and repairing concrete in a variety of construction settings. Number of Positions 1
Prepare and level subgrade, construct and align forms, and place reinforcement as required for pours. Mix, pour, transport, and place concrete using wheelbarrows, pumps, or other equipment to achieve specified consistency. Operate hand and power finishing tools such as screeds, floats, trowels, edgers, and power trowels to achieve required surface texture and slope. Install control and expansion joints, perform saw cutting, apply curing compounds, and execute surface treatments. Inspect finished surfaces, perform patching and repairs, and ensure work meets drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Maintain tools and equipment, follow safety procedures, and coordinate with crew members and other trades on site.
