Job summary

Retailors NA Limited Partnership is seeking a Store Director in Canada to lead Nike retail locations. You will assist the Store Manager across sales, merchandising, operations, and accounting, and may manage a floor or unit in the store.

You will also coordinate daily activities, set priorities, recruit talent, and drive brand initiatives. The role requires retail leadership experience, a passion for sports fashion, and flexibility for weekends, evenings, holidays, and some overnights.

Qualifications

• Extensive retail experience with at least 2 years in management.
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings, holidays, and some overnights as required.
• Enthusiasm and passion about sports and sports fashion.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Store Manager by managing store functions (sales, merchandising, operations, accounting, etc.).
• Performing store management functions in absence of Head Coach.
• Coordinating and supervising daily activities of support staff.
• Setting priorities for the team to ensure task completion and coordinating with other supervisors.
• Developing plans to meet short-term objectives and improve efficiency.
• Recruiting and hiring top talent to ensure a diverse and energetic environment.
• Preparing statistical and narrative reports of store activities.
• Communicating with Visual team and overseeing site maintenance.

What You'll Do:

• Assisting the Store Manager (Head Coach) by managing one or more of the store functions (sales, merchandising, operations, accounting, etc.) or by managing a particular floor/business in a store
• Performing all store management functions in absence of Head Coach
• Coordinating and supervises the daily activities of business support staff
• Setting priorities for the team to ensure task completion, coordinates work activities with other supervisors
• Applying management skills to improve efficiency and accomplish operational objectives within own unit
• Recruiting and hiring top talent to ensure a diverse and energetic work environment
• Setting priorities for employees to meet daily deadlines; developing plans to meet short-term objectives
• Performing work in support of brand plans; demonstrates link between daily work and company mission; participates in initiatives, and programs
• Preparing statistical and narrative reports of store activities
• Communicating with Visual team and/or oversee physical site maintenance

Pay range: $43,000 - 50,000/annually
