Job summary

TTM Technologies, Inc. in Ontario, Canada, is seeking an Environmental Technician to operate and monitor wastewater treatment and ion exchange systems, ensuring EHSS controls are followed and records kept.

The role requires basic chemistry knowledge, at least one year in an environmental/safety role, ability to lift 50 lbs, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Shift is midnight, Wednesday to Sunday, on-site.

Qualifications

• Some college with chemistry focus or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum one year in an environmental/safety role in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
• Water or wastewater treatment experience preferred.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors year-round.
• Strong English reading/writing and documentation skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor RO/DI water system and wastewater treatment ion exchange system.
• Maintain chemical inventory and regenerate systems as needed.
• Audit and report EHSS controls and participate in safety training.
• Prepare shipping documentation for hazardous waste and recycling.
• Ability to drive a forklift or become certified within 90 days.
