Job summary

Cambian Group is seeking a compassionate Residential Support Worker for our Newmarket children’s homes. The role covers nights from 8pm to 8:30am, involving long shifts and sleep-ins to support young people.

We offer a fully paid induction, enhanced DBS funded by Cambian Group, and a clear path for progression from Support Worker to Team Leader and Deputy Manager. A pension scheme enrollment follows after three months.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ due to Ofsted regulations.
• Driving is essential due to locations of the homes.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide night-time support and care for children and young people.
• Foster a calm, safe environment and offer guidance as needed.
• Support daily routines and respond to needs during night shifts.

An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Newmarket based childrens homes for Residential Support Workers! We are looking for a caring and compassionate person with the desire to help children and young people, by making a positive difference to their lives.

This role is working nights - 8pm - 8.30am

236 hours of paid annual leave per annum

• You will receive a monthly rota
• This is a 365 day a year job, including Christmas, new year and all the fun holidays but it is even more fun when you celebrate with the children!
• The shifts consist of long hours and sleep ins (which are essential) and the hours differ depending on which home you are based in
• You MUST be 21 due to Ofsted regulations
• Driving is essential due to locations of the homes
• No experience needed
• Refer a friend payment scheme - earn up to £2000 per referral
• Enrolled on to a work place pension scheme after three months of employment
• Progression within the company. Support Worker - Team Leader - Deputy Manager
• Fully paid 10-day induction course
• Enhanced DBS, paid for by Cambian Group
• Enrolment on to NVQ level 4 Children and Young People Workforce after successful completion of six-month probationary period
