Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Winnipeg, MB is seeking a Material Handler I to support warehouse operations under supervision. The role includes loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation and cycle counting, with night shifts Sunday through Tuesday 7pm–7am and Wednesday 7pm–1am.

You will ensure accuracy and safety in a fast-paced environment. The position offers 10 days of PTO, comprehensive medical, dental & vision benefits after 30 days, retirement plans, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• HS diploma/GED preferred.
• 1+ year warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Adhere to performance guidelines of the contract.
• Ensure accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for the automated packing system during core shift hours.
